Danh Hong is the original Khmer Unicode font creator and his fonts are accepted by Cambodians universally. Our desire is to see the Khmer system font "Hanuman UI" designed by Danh Hong ( source) replace the current Khmer UI font and the Khmer font "Content" by Danh Hong ( source) replace the "DaunPenh" font in Windows. But in Windows 10 users are not allowed to choose their own custom user interface font for their language, and so we are stuck with "Khmer UI." In addition, the size of the default Khmer font, "DaunPenh" is about 50% smaller than it should be, and so when you start writing Khmer in Microsoft Word the text is so small you cannot read it unless you manually increase the size or change to another Khmer Unicode font. But the fonts that were included for the user interface, specifically "Khmer UI", is difficult to read and is badly designed. Starting with Windows Vista, Microsoft included Khmer Unicode fonts in the system for which we are very grateful. Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft Corporation, We would like to petition Microsoft to change the default Khmer and Khmer UI font on Windows because the vast majority of Cambodians feel the fonts are ugly and difficult to read.
